My first career was in Finance at Walt Disney World where I worked in accounting and finance. After moving to Chicago and having our first child, I "retired" from Disney and then stayed home with my three children for a number of years. I believe I have found my calling in travel planning and began that journey in 2016. I launched my own company in 2020 and have consistently been named one of my host agency's Top Producers since my company's inception.
I met my husband, Josh, while we were both working at Walt Disney World, and I am grateful he shares my passion for travel. We love taking our children on new adventures any chance we can while also visiting favorites like Chicago on a regular basis. I polled my family, and their favorite destinations/trips are as follows: Josh – Reykjavik, Iceland; Hampton – Chicago; Camden – Greece; Peyton – Disney Cruise to anywhere, the longer the better.
I could not possibly select one favorite destination, so my top few would be Chicago, Ireland, Paris, and Monument Valley.
Lifelong learning is a passion of mine and planning and organizing travel experiences brings me great joy. I worked in the field of education as a teacher, administrator and Director of Human Resources, until retiring in 2022. I have now immersed myself into a second career and I am thrilled to be part of KHC Grand Travel.
My favorite destinations are anywhere I go with my family! I am Mimi to two grandsons and I can’t wait to show them the world! My most memorable travel moments are as follows: Road tripping in an RV out west for 17 days, driving from North Carolina to California; Living in Antigua, an island in the British West Indies as a young child and never realizing it would one day be a tourist destination; Annual spa birthday weekends with my adult daughters. They love surprises and they never know where we are going until we get there!; Since 2004, my extended family has spent Thanksgiving together. There are almost 30 of us, and we travel from all over the southeast to gather together.
